The Guild is made up of artists in all media living and working on St. Croix, and inspired by the beauty of the island. The Guild provides fellowship among artists, promotes exhibits, workshops and mentoring of young artists in our community.

Dear Fellow Artists,

Greetings from the Board of Directors of The Artist Guild of St Croix; President Cathy Booth, Secretary Jean Bishop, Treasurer Joyce Hickok, and Member at Large Waldi Brodhurst. The Artist Guild of St Croix is inviting you to join/rejoin The Artist Guild and to participate in our annual show at The Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts (CMCARTS) From Tuesday December 28, 2021 through Saturday January 29, 2022. Add these deadline dates to your calendars: December 1 for Submission of your prospectus , photos of work and fees, and December 10 and 11 for Delivery of art to the museum. In order to participate in the show you must be a member and attend one of the two upcoming Guild meetings.

The membership fee is $10 for returning Guild members and $20 for new members. Our first meeting will be held on Saturday, September 11 at the CMCArts Courtyard from 3:00 to 4:30. Our second meeting will be held on Saturday, November 13 at the CMCArts Courtyard from 3:00-4:30.

We will discuss the upcoming show at CMCArts and go over the prospectus, fees, opening and other necessary information for the show. We will also discuss the purpose, mission and vision of the Artist Guild moving forward into 2022. Some current board member’s terms are expiring and those positions must be filled or the Guild will be dissolved. There will also be a discussion of programs that are needed to support the arts and artists on the island of St Croix.

Your input and participation is important for the Artist Guild to remain a viable resource for the artists and art programs on St Croix. We want ideas as to how the Artist Guild of St Croix can best serve the artist community on St Croix in addition to our annual show.
